Peter Hansell appointed to run new real estate fund

Cairn Capital Limited today announces the appointment of Peter Hansell. Formerly a Managing Director in Lehman Brothers` Global Real Estate Group, Peter has been appointed to focus on the development and expansion of Cairn`s existing real estate related activities and to run the Company`s new Ibex Fund. The Ibex Fund will specifically invest in commercial mortgage debt.
Prior to Lehman Brothers, Peter ran Standard & Poor`s commercial mortgage backed securities rating team in Europe and he was a senior relationship manager specialising in commercial real estate related lending at The Royal Bank of Scotland.
Commenting on developments, David Henriques, a Director of Cairn, said:
